This variety is tart and used for jams/jellies and is very resistant to pests and plum cucurclio. This is the variety you want if you are desiring a LOW MAINTENANCE plant. No spraying necessary!

Mashua is susceptible to super chilly winter weather, so add another dumpload of mulch to retain warmth in the fall before winter comes. Nasturtiums are a sacrificial plant for wooly apple aphids. Vine is lovely and both leaves and flowers are edible with a peppery taste.
